Sanquhar is a small town in the county of Dumfriesshire in the southern part of Scotland. In the town center is the oldest post office building in the world, which was opened in the 17th century. In a former coal mine not far from Sanquhar, Extreme E plans to hold its first "Hydro X Prix" in the early summer of 2023.
