Calama is a city in the north of Chile. It belongs to the Antofagasta region and is located in the middle of the Atacama Desert. With an annual precipitation of 0 mm, the city is one of the driest places on earth - there is practically no vegetation in the surrounding area. The Extreme E has been holding its Copper X Prix here since 2022.
