Tanner Foust has competed in a variety of rallycross, drift, ice racing and rally events throughout his career. He won medals at the X Games several times, and in 2014 he also won a round of the World Rallycross Championship (WRX). Between 2010 and 2016, he also hosted the TV series Top Gear USA.
Foust has been competing for Team McLaren since the second Extreme E season (2022). He made it onto the podium for the first time in the off-road series that same year at the Energy X Prix in Uruguay.
