Klara Andersson gained most of her motorsport experience in rallycross racing, including in the electric RX2e and the World Rallycross Championship.
For the 2022 Extreme E season, Andersson was initially signed by Xite Energy Racing. However, a coronavirus infection caused her to miss the opening race and she subsequently switched to ABT Cupra. In the final race of her debut season, Andersson celebrated her first victory, whereupon she was also offered a contract by the Kempten-based team for 2023.
