Hedda Hosas gained her first motorsport experience in motocross before switching to four wheels and competing in rallycross categories. Due to a lack of financial support, she also began working as a mechanic soon after. During a test day in Denmark, she convinced then-Veloce team boss Ian Davies, who signed her as a reserve driver for the 2021 Extreme E season.

The following year, Hosas stepped in for Christine "GZ" Giampaoli Zonca at the Desert X Prix as Extreme E's "Championship Driver," or universal reserve driver for all teams in the series - again with Veloce. She scored her first podium in the championship after switching teams in her second race, the 2022 Island X Prix, with JBXE. She will also race with the British racing team in Extreme E in 2023.
