In London, it is the task of the race stewards of the FIA to check compliance with the Technical and Sporting Regulations for the last time this season. In the event of an offence, they must decide on the penalty. As usual, you will find a list of all decisions made by the Formula E race stewards in this article.

Loic Bacquelaine, Achim Loth and Alex Maunders will take on this task at the 2024 London E-Prix. They will once again be supported by former racing driver Paul Belmondo. After five years in Formula 3000, the Frenchman also spent several years in Formula 1 during his career. As usual, you will find a list of all the race stewards' decisions below.

Penalties ahead of the London E-Prix

  • Jake Hughes received a three places grid penalty for the London E-Prix after causing a collision with Edoardo Mortara in Portland.

Penalties during the shakedown

  • ERT also received a warning for the same reason.

Penalties during free practice on Friday

  • Nyck de Vries received a reprimand for speeding during the full-course yellow simulation. A speed limit of 50 km/h applies during a full course yellow.
  • Dan Ticktum received a reprimand, too, for not following the instructions from the Race Director. Ticktum did not use the escape road when cutting the chicane, he instead turned his car and reentered the track there again.
  • Sergio Sette Camara received a reprimand for driving unnecessarily slowly during the 2nd free practice session. As this was his third reprimand of the current season, he received a 10 places grid penalty.

  • Stoffel Vandoorne got a three places grid penalty for impeding Sacha Fenestraz during group qualifying. This penalty dropped him from 17th on the grid to 20th. The Belgian also received a penalty point.
  • As Sergio Sette Camara was unable to complete his 30 places grid penalty, he also received a 10-second stop-and-go penalty in the race.

Penalties during the race on Saturday

  • Jake Dennis received a ten-second time penalty for causing a collision with Robin Frijns. The Andretti driver also received two penalty points on his racing licence.

  • Sacha Fenestraz received a five-second time penalty for causing a collision with Norman Nato. He also received a penalty point for this incident.
  • Jean-Eric Vergne also received a five-second time penalty for the collision with Jehan Daruvala. The Frenchman was awarded one penalty point for this incident.
  • A review of the penalty imposed on Sacha Fenestraz by Nissan was rejected by the race stewards. Nissan submitted images from the World Feed, a statement from the driver and data from the car. However, the race stewards decided that no new and significant information emerged from this and upheld the penalty.
