Grid penalties for Maloney, Nato & Ticktum: All Formula E penalties at the Shanghai E-Prix at a glance

FIA Formula E
At the Shanghai E-Prix, as at every race in the Formula E World Championship, the stewards of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) are responsible for ensuring compliance with the Technical and Sporting Regulations. Should they identify a breach, it is their responsibility to determine the penalty. As usual, this article provides a list of all the decisions made over the weekend.
At the 2026 Shanghai E-Prix, Chairman of the Steward David Fuentes, International Steward Matthew Sellay and National Steward Shi Huang will take on this role. They will be supported in this by racing driver Daniil Kvyat. Kvyat, who is originally from Russia but currently races under an Italian licence, spent several years in Formula 1 during his motorsport career, where he drove for the teams Toro Rosso (now Racing Bulls) and Red Bull Racing. Kvyat has a fair amount of Formula E experience under his belt, having already taken part in the series’ rookie test on several occasions.
