Envision Racing continues to rely on Gen3 livery concept in Formula E Season 12

Envision Racing has had two mixed years. After winning the team championship in season 9, the team slipped down the table. Drivers Robin Frijns and Sebastien Buemi as well as the entire team seemed lost and at times lacking in motivation. After several podium finishes, a victory and now with a new driver duo, a positive turnaround is in the offing. What remains the same is the iconic green and blue livery of the Jaguar customer team.

As has been the case since season 8, Envision will drive in the colours green and blue. After some minor changes to the concept for season 9, probably due to the switch from Gen2 to Gen3, the livery has remained the same ever since.

The top of the Formula E car remains bright green throughout, with a thin white stripe leading over to the dark blue lower half of the car. The green accents on the rims will also attract attention once again.

Climate stripes and few sponsors

Envision Racing has designed its car very simply, with a lot of free space on the design, which is probably also due to the small number of sponsors. Apart from the cryptocurrency Algorand, Hankook and Sand Technologies, an AI solutions company, there are no other sponsors on the car. Only the climate stripes of Professor Ed Hawkins break through the flat colours.

Last year, a new stripe was added to the annual list and inevitably shows the climatic changes. Hawkins explained his intentions as follows: "The strips show so well what we have already done to our planet. They help to make climate change feel like something that is happening now and not in the distant future."

We will find out how well Envision performs on the track with the iconic livery and the new driver duo from 27 October, when testing begins in Valencia.
