Felipe Drugovich: From podium to victory with top marks! The e-Formula.news driver rating for the 2026 Monaco E-Prix

Formula E visited the historic Circuit de Monaco on the Mediterranean coast last weekend. The drivers gave us two spectacularly exciting races with two different winners and two drivers who made it onto the podium for the first time. One of them: Felipe Drugovich. The Andretti driver completed a brilliant weekend and left the competition trailing in his wake. The Brazilian finally made his breakthrough in Formula E!

After each round of Formula E Season 12, our editors award points on a scale of 1 to 10 to all drivers. They are then sorted according to their average "rating score". The rating is based solely on driving performance, not the potential of the car or external circumstances.

Felipe Drugovich | Andretti | 9.7

Felipe Drugovich had a difficult start as a regular driver for Andretti. The Brazilian had struggled to convert his excellent qualifying performance into points. After scoring points for the team for the first time in Berlin, the knot has now finally burst. Drugovich drove two superb races in Monaco and always positioned himself so that Andretti's strategy could unfold. With 4th and 2nd places, he outperformed his high-ranking team-mate Jake Dennis in the Principality!

Mitch Evans | Jaguar TCS Racing | 9.3

Just like Drugovich, Evans also scored a second and a fourth place and thus 30 championship points in Monaco. Although these results are not a sensation for the New Zealander, they are all the more important for the battle for the drivers' world championship: after two clean and well thought-out races, Evans leaves with a 19-point lead! However, there were still a few daring moments with team-mate Antonio Felix da Costa on Sunday.

Antonio Felix da Costa | Jaguar TCS Racing | 8.7

The visit to the Principality was a double-edged affair for Antonio Felix da Costa. The Portuguese driver was involved in a collision in both races, but was not found to be at fault in either case. In the first race, third place would have been perfectly possible, but his Jaguar did not survive the contact with Ticktum. In the second race, he was spun by Edoardo Mortara after a strong qualifying effort, but was still able to fight his way back from the back to third place! Despite a lot of bad luck, Felix da Costa once again showed that he is one of the best drivers in Formula E.

Flop of the E-Prix: Taylor Barnard | DS Penske | 4.3

DS Penske is currently putting in a lot of effort, but points remain a rarity. The team is now well down the table in penultimate place in the World Championship, only ahead of Lola Yamaha Abt. Barnard was at least able to score a few points in the first race with 7th place. In the second race, however, the young Briton showed impressively how the chance of a very important points finish can be wasted. He caused two accidents with Norman Nato and Jean-Eric Vergne, who were each given a time penalty. Shortly before the end of the race, an attack on Mitch Evans ended in the barriers. Incidents involving Barnard on the track are becoming more frequent - it's time for the team and the driver to get their act together again.
