Mitch Evans was the fastest driver in Formula E's third free practice session in Saudi Arabia. With a lap time of 1:10.154 minutes, he beat Jean-Eric Vergne and Max Günther. Oliver Rowland and Jake Dennis completed the top five in a largely uneventful session.

Nothing worth mentioning happened in the first five minutes of the only free practice session on Saturday. Mitch Evans led the timesheets ahead of his Jaguar team-mate Nick Cassidy. The two Nissan drivers Oliver Rowland and Sacha Fenestraz then took the lead. The track was once again significantly faster compared to the previous day: Jean-Eric Vergne set a lap time of 1:11.377 minutes after ten minutes - six tenths of a second faster than the absolute best time on Friday.

Dan Ticktum hit the brakes at the end of the long straight and drove a wide arc in the run-off zone. His ERT team-mate continued where he had left off on Friday: Sergio Sette Camara was in second place at this point, before Robin Frijns set a new fastest time. His Envision team-mate Sebastien Buemi beat him halfway through the session. Ten minutes before the end, Max Günther took over the top position.

The next fastest time came from Vergne, who was again fast after his second place the previous day. Evans was then back in front. There were a few more personal improvements in the final minutes, but Evans remained in the lead. Vergne was second ahead of Günther, Rowland and Dennis. Qualifying for the Diriyah E-Prix on Saturday will take place at 13:20 (CET). The second night race will start at 6pm.
