The Evo Sessions of the FIA Formula E World Championship are entering the next round. Last season, Formula E celebrated the premiere of this unique format, which combines motorsport and entertainment. On 15 February 2026 in Jeddah, the time has come again: after the first double-header of Season 12, ten celebrities will once again take the wheel of the Gen3 Evo cars. This time, however, the event will even be broadcast live.

The Evo Sessions bring content creators directly into the cockpit of the all-electric racing series as part of a one-day event. They receive exclusive behind-the-scenes insights, are coached by world-class drivers and experience for themselves what Formula E feels like on the track. Each Creator is assigned to a Formula E team and receives professional support. The aim of the format is to make innovation, speed and the future of motorsport accessible, combine motorsport and youth culture and thus further expand the reach of the series.

The Evo Sessions proved to be a resounding success for the racing series in 2025. In 2026, the format will take the next step: for the first time, the event will be broadcast live worldwide on the official Formula E YouTube channel. The series has also entered into a partnership with Arcade - the management and production company behind the Sidemen, the UK's most influential creative collective with more than 21 million subscribers. The aim is to bring some of the world's greatest content creators into a Formula E vehicle.

This season, two teams, each with five of the most followed creators, will compete against each other. Together, they will bring a reach of over 300 million people to the desert of Saudi Arabia. Team Senor Frogs is led by TheBurntChip and completed by Behzinga, WillNE, Arthur TV and Izzy Hammond. Team QuickStars is under the leadership of Vikkstar.

The two teams compete in a duel format in which the fastest lap is at stake. In direct comparisons, the drivers are eliminated lap by lap until only the fastest drivers from each team remain. These then meet in a final duel in which the winner takes all.

Jeff Dodds, CEO of Formula E, explains: "Evo Sessions is about pushing motorsport into places it’s never been before. By putting the world’s most influential content creators into the Gen3 Evo car, and giving them a genuine competitive format, we’re opening Formula E to hundreds of millions of new fans in a way that feels authentic, exciting and bold," he emphasises how unique the experience Formula E is offering its fans with this format.

This year, e-Formula.news will also be streaming the Evo Sessions live. You can follow the action via our streaming page.
