While Jaguar TCS Racing has made some personnel changes with new team principal Ian James and new driver Antonio Felix da Costa, the livery of the British team's Gen3 Evo cars remains almost identical. Jaguar has been using the colours gold, black and white for its cars since season 9. The asymmetrical composition of the design elements remains particularly eye-catching this year. The only real enhancements to the Jaguar I-Type 7 are minimal details.

A little more gold and a new nose
Like last year, Jaguar plays with an asymmetrical colour concept. A wide white stripe wraps around the cockpit on one side and a metallic gold stripe on the other. Both intersect at the front end and finish with matching colour accents on the front wing. The largest colour in terms of surface area and the basis of the paintwork remains black.</p
New this year is the sponsor "Sapphire Reserve", which has a place both at the rear and on the front wing. The design is also rounded off on the nose with a further use of the colours gold and white in a small symbol. The most striking addition is two new golden stripes on the sidepods, as a transition between dark and light.

The team attaches great importance to Valencia
We will see the new Jaguar I-Type 7 on the track from 27 October in Valencia. Felix da Costa in particular is looking forward to the tests in Spain with great confidence: "I'm really excited to begin my journey with Jaguar TCS Racing. Valencia testing will be a key moment for me to get comfortable with the Jaguar I‑Type 7 and start building that performance foundation ‑ I'll be pushing hard from day one."
After a poor first half of the season last year, the team will be looking to perform at their best right from the start in Season 12. The momentum that Evans and his former team-mate Nick Cassidy built up at the end of season 11 is something the New Zealander now wants to take with him: "With the speed we showed in the car at the end of last season and a fresh team dynamic, we're ready to give it everything and I’m looking forward to the season ahead."
Ian James is no stranger to Formula E, having managed the McLaren team last year. Now, as team principal for Jaguar TCS Racing, the Brit is getting ready to fight for top results: "We're entering pre‑season testing in Valencia with real momentum and focus. It's the first step in what we believe will be another fiercely competitive year – and we're ready to rise to the challenge."
