The Monegasque team Maserati MSG Racing presented the livery of its cars for the tenth Formula E season on Monday morning. The Maserati Tipo Folgore will once again shine in dark blue and black in 2024. What is new, however, is that the rear of the car is in the Maserati colour Rame Folgore (English: Copper Glance).
The difference to the previous season is not particularly great: The upper areas of the bodywork are dark blue, the sidepods are again black. Only the rear section of the bodywork has been adapted to include some copper-coloured accents.
The past season marked the first for the Italian sports car manufacturer in international formula racing since Maserati left Formula 1 66 years earlier. Max Günther scored the first Maserati victory in formula racing since Juan Manuel Fangio's success at the German Grand Prix on 4 August 1957 at the Jakarta E-Prix.
The drivers for the team will again be Günther and Jehan Daruvala, who replaces Edoardo Mortara, who has left for Mahindra Racing. We will see the car on the race track for the first time tomorrow, when the pre-season tests start in Valencia. e-Formula.news will be in Spain for you and, as always, will provide you with everything you need to know from the tests.
