e-Formula.news, the leading portal site for electric motorsport in the DACH region, has entered into a new partnership with Red Bull Media House. The media company based in Austria holds the broadcasting rights to Formula E for the DACH region and is awarding the TV coverage also for the upcoming 2024/25 season to broadcasters DF1 (Germany) and ServusTV (Austria) as well as Blue TV (Switzerland). In the online sector, RBMH supports e-Formula.news to help Formula E continue to grow in the DACH region.

As part of the cooperation, e-Formula.news will serve as a central information base for German-speaking Formula E fans. In addition to up-to-date reporting with news, analyses and commentaries, interested readers will receive basic information on Formula E, live tickers for all sessions as well as comprehensive results and statistics.

In addition, e-Formula.news, which has been reporting on Formula E on a daily basis for more than ten years, is placing a stronger focus on social media in the eleventh season. In addition to the existing channels Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok, the YouTube channel of e-Formula.news will also be regularly filled with high-quality videos in future (in German language). Fans can therefore look forward to even more Formula E content.

"We are delighted to have a strong new partner at our side in Red Bull Media House," says Timo Pape, founder and Managing Director of e-Formula.news. "This support gives us the opportunity to further expand our activities in the Formula E sector and offer German-speaking fans even more high-quality and independent content - especially regarding video content."

Morgenbesser: "We'll present fans with unprecedented content"

"In the upcoming 2024/25 season, the newly created Brand Studio Sports of Red Bull Media House will support Formula E in establishing and expanding its reach in Germany, Austria and Switzerland," says David Morgenbesser, CCO Red Bull Media House.

"In this context, we are delighted to have e-Formula.news, the leading news and information website on Formula E in German-speaking countries, as a partner. Together, we will present unprecedented content to all fans and show Formula E from completely new angles," Morgenbesser continued.

RBMH also announces media partnerships with DF1, DAZN & Bild

The newly founded "Brand Studio Sports" department of Red Bull Media House has been commissioned by Formula E to improve the brand positioning of the electric series and the strategy in the entire DACH region, including via the media system. The partnership will focus on content production and project management to sustainably increase brand awareness of the series, according to an official announcement. A localised approach will be pursued with platforms such as TV channel DF1, streaming provider DAZN and other digital partners such as Bild and e-Formula.news.

For the coming season, a dedicated production team will accompany Formula E at all 16 races and provide a German-language TV feed for all media partners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In addition, the team will create exclusive, storytelling-based highlights that reflect the perspectives of the DACH audience to ensure an emotionally engaging and region-specific narrative.

Content creation began at the Formula E pre-season test in Madrid, where Brand Studio Sports produced a series of portraits on the current Formula E World Champion, Pascal
Wehrlein, as well as other German-speaking teams and drivers. These will gradually appear on the channels of e-Formula.news.

The new Formula E season begins next Saturday, 7 December 2024, when the electric series will compete in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The E-Prix will also mark the debut of the new Gen3 Evo car, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.86 seconds thanks to its all-wheel drive - faster than a current Formula 1 car.
