[05/01 | 1:55 pm] The Citroen Racing Team has invited Olympic champions into its garage. Bobsleigh racers Laura Nolte and Deborah Levi, who won the gold medal at the last Olympic Games in Milan Cortina in February, are at the race track in Berlin to watch the action.

[05/01 | 1:25 pm] During Friday's press conference, Porsche team boss Florian Modlinger expressed his delight at further German participation in the Formula E World Championship. "We are very happy that Opel is joining and we are looking forward to race them next year," he said. "If other German manufacturers are joining in the future, that would be good, but we race what is out there."

[05/01 | 1:05 pm]The Porsche Formula E team will be competing in a special livery this weekend: the two works Porsches driven by Pascal Wehrlein and Nico Müller will take to the track in an eye-catching pink colour. The special livery is a tribute to the Porsche team that competed in the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans with the same livery. The car is adorned with a pink colour and is inscribed with different body part names in German such as "Schulter" (shoulder) and "Rüssel" (trunk), reminiscent of butcher's cuts. The paintwork is known by the name "Pink Pig".
In addition to the special livery, the two Porsche drivers also wear a matching racing suit and a special helmet.

During his visit, Jaguar drivers Antonio Felix da Costa and Mitch Evans and other Jaguar team members showed the Prince of Wales the racing car. He was also introduced to the British team's approach to electrification, innovation and competition.</p
After the visit to Kidlington in England, the Royal was impressed: "An electric visit to the Jaguar TCS Racing headquarters in Kidlington! Incredible to see the world leading approach to innovation and sustainability in Formula E. A huge well done to the team as they shift towards an all-electric future 🏎️"

[05/01 | 12:55 pm] As part of the "Double-Header"-Weekend in Berlin, Porsche is presenting itself with an exhibition of historic racing cars, among other things. Selected cars - including an example of the legendary Porsche 917 - will drive parade laps around the race track at Tempelhof on both race days. Porsche's guests on site will include former Formula 1 driver Mark Webber and "Tatort"actor Richy Müller.
Thomas Laudenbach, Head of Porsche Motorsport, said in a statement that he was looking forward to the weekend: "Motorsport has characterised our brand for 75 years - we are bringing this to life in Berlin."

[05/01 | 12:50 pm] Will Brown is the new Commercial Officer of Formula E. He joins the management team and reports to CEO Jeff Dodds. He is responsible for leading the global commercial strategy of the Electric World Championship and accelerating the growth of the partnership network.
Brown has previously worked for leading sports and entertainment brands including Audi F1, Real Madrid, Ironman, Arsenal FC and Manchester United.
Jeff Dodds, CEO of Formula E, said: "Looking ahead to the Gen4 era, we have taken the opportunity to further develop our commercial structure to ensure we are best placed to capitalise on the significant global momentum behind the series. [05/01 | 12:50 pm] Formula E has teamed up with 3DClouds to add Formula E to the video game "Formula Legends". The result is the expansion "Formula E: Electric Evolution", which includes all manufacturers, drivers, teams and selected race tracks of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship as well as the racing cars of the Gen1, Gen2 and Gen3 EVO generations. Attack Mode and Pit Boost have also been incorporated into the game.</p
