After three seasons, Antonio Felix da Costa's time at Porsche came to an end in September 2025, as the manufacturer announced a few days ago. It is not yet officially known what will happen next for the 2019-20 Formula E champion, who would also like to compete in the WEC World Endurance Championship again after his time at Porsche in addition to the electric series. Porsche has also not yet presented a successor.

"He impressed everyone in the team above all with his racecraft, how he could read the race and work his way forward," said Florian Modlinger, Overall Project Manager Formula E at Porsche, bidding farewell to the Portuguese driver. "I thank Antonio for his achievements, but also for his direct and transparent approach, as well as the appreciation he showed to every single person in the team. We wish him all the best."

The 2023 Mexico City E-Prix marked a new chapter in Formula E for Antonio Felix da Costa: he competed for the Porsche works team for the first time. He finished the race in 7th place.

At the Hyderabad E-Prix, his fourth race for Porsche, he then stood on the podium for his new employer for the first time and finished third.

The highlight of his first Porsche season came just two weeks later: in a thrilling duel shortly before the end of the race, he overtook his former teammate Jean-Eric Vergne with a superb manoeuvre to secure his eighth Formula E race victory.

He stood on the podium once again at Formula E's debut race in Portland in June 2023. The Portland International Raceway proved to be a lucky track for Felix da Costa: he took home a trophy at the end of all three Formula E races held there.

After a very disappointing start to the 2024 season, Felix da Costa achieved what appeared to be a breakthrough in Misano: starting from P13, he crossed the finish line in first place.

However, the joy lasted only a few hours, as the Porsche driver was subsequently disqualified due to an illegal pedal spring. The race the following day was also one to forget: 17th place after a collision and replacing his damaged front wing.

At the 2024 Berlin E-Prix, he secured his first victory of the season, which was also Porsche's first Formula E home win. It was to be the start of an extremely strong second half of the season for the Portuguese driver.

His second victory of the season followed in Shanghai. Felix da Costa relegated pole-setter Jake Hughes and Norman Nato in Andretti's customer Porsche to the following places.

In the subsequent double-header in Portland, the Portuguese driver dominated as he did in his best DS Techeetah days, demonstrating that he was truly an absolute specialist in Gen3 slipstream racing: two races, two victories.

With a total of four race wins, he won more often in the 2024 season than the three candidates for the world championship title: the two Jaguar drivers Nick Cassidy and Mitch Evans, as well as his teammate Pascal Wehrlein.

The opening race of the 2024-25 season got off to a promising start for Felix da Costa. For the first time as a Porsche driver, he finished second in a race. His first seven podium finishes with the German manufacturer had all been either victories or third places.

The Portuguese driver once again finished second in the 2025 Mexico City E-Prix. As a result, he led the Formula E overall standings for the first and only time as a Porsche driver.

He also finished third on the podium at the 2025 Miami E-Prix. But his expression gives it away: he wasn't happy with that. A race interruption shortly before the finish line not only robbed him of a comfortable lead, but also his last Attack Mode. In the final sprint, he had no chance against Pascal Wehrlein and Lucas di Grassi, who still had one Attack Mode left.

The Sunday race in Shanghai in 2025, held in extremely wet conditions, marked the eleventh and final podium finish for Felix da Costa and Porsche in Formula E.

Felix da Costa contested his final race for Porsche in London 2025. With sixth place in Sunday's race, he played a key role in Porsche winning both the team and manufacturer titles. His record at Porsche: 48 races, five wins, eleven podium finishes, 338 World Championship points. Fifth place in the 2024/25 Drivers' Championship was his best overall result.
