Porsche was the first Formula E team to unveil its livery for the 2025-26 season on Wednesday morning. As in the previous season, the reigning team world champions will compete in the colours "Purpleskymetallic" and "Shadegreenmetallic" - but this time in a matt livery. The name of the team from Weissach is also new: Porsche Formula E Team. However, the logo of the previous title partner TAG Heuer is still on the car, and a new partner has also been acquired.

TAG Heuer, the previous title partner of Porsche's Formula E works team, is reorganising its partnership with the German brand: the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer will become a global partner of Porsche Motorsport. The Formula E team will continue to be supported in this role, and the TAG Heuer logo will continue to be emblazoned on the roll bar and the rear of the Porsche 99x Electric.

In addition to TAG Heuer, other partners will remain part of the team: Mobil 1, Loctite, Puma, NetApp and Cato Networks. Former partner Ansys can now be found on the vehicle under its new name Synopsys, as can the Japanese TDK Corporation. The latter was previously a sponsor of McLaren in the electric racing series and is now working with Porsche.

"Merci, TAG Heuer," says Thomas Laudenbach, Vice President Porsche Motorsport. "After six seasons together in Formula E, Porsche is at the forefront of electric motorsport. Such success is only possible with partners who share the same values. In our case, these are primarily a passion for motorsport and technical innovation. What makes our partnership in Formula E special, however, is that both brands are characterized by a predominantly mechanical tradition, yet we have prevailed in arguably the most digital racing series in the world."

"Of course, my thanks go not only to TAG Heuer, but to all our previous partners," continues Laudenbach. "Our successes are a team effort in every respect - and in this spirit I also warmly welcome TDK."

"We were partners of Porsche's Formula E endeavours since day one, and we are extremely happy to continue to be the timing partner of the Porsche Formula E Team for the new season as part of our larger ongoing commitment to Porsche Motorsport," adds George Ciz, Chief Marketing Officer of TAG Heuer. "This will also allow us to align all our motorsport assets at this time with a more consistent approach to team partnerships. We are looking forward to many more podiums and victories with Porsche Motorsport across all categoriees."

The first time we will see the Porsche 99X Electric with its new livery on the race track will be at the official pre-season tests, which will take place in Valencia from 27 to 31 October. As in previous years, e-Formula.news will be on site for you. The first race for Porsche in its new look will take place on 6 December in Sao Paulo.
