What is the program at the Formula E race in Berlin - what is when?

The Formula E carries out two full days of racing in Berlin. Visitors:inside the Berlin E-Prix thus experience an almost identical program on Saturday and / or Sunday. The music acts, however, differ. All Formula E sessions can be followed live on the grounds - with the exception of the 1st free practice session, which will already take place on Friday to the exclusion of the public.

When does the event open, and how long does it go on?

The event and the Allianz Fan Village will be open from 8:00 a.m. on both Saturday (April 22) and Sunday (April 23). The event ends at 5:30 p.m. in each case.

Can I leave the event area in the meantime and then enter again?

No, entering the grounds is only possible once.

What program will be offered in addition to the Formula E races?

.

In addition to the race track, an extensive entertainment program will be offered in the Allianz Fan Village. On 25,000 square meters, you can expect an exhibition of technical innovations, a diverse entertainment program and exciting activities for all ages. Enjoy live music and shows as well as activities for the very young fans. Meet the drivers up close at the autograph session and prove yourself at the racing simulators in the "Gaming Arena". Numerous food trucks on the grounds will cater to your physical well-being.

Will there be music concerts at the Formula E race in Berlin? Which acts will perform?

At around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, up-and-coming German soul and pop singer Ayliva will perform at the Allianz Fan Village. The music program for Saturday has not yet been announced (as of April 7).

Arrival & Orientation

Where is what on the event site - is there a map?

You can find a detailed map of the Berlin E-Prix event area here as a high-resolution PDF. You enter the event area through the main entrance of Tempelhof Airport: Platz der Luftbrücke 5, 12101 Berlin.

What's the best way to get to the track?

The Formula E race will take place as in previous years at the disused Tempelhof Airport. The organizer recommends getting there by public transport or bicycle. The venue is well connected to local public transportation.

Nearby are the subway stations "Platz der Luftbrücke" and "Paradestraße" (U6). Several bus stops are in the immediate vicinity. IMPORTANT: The S-Bahn station "Tempelhof" (Ringbahn) is unfortunately closed on the event weekend.

Are parking spaces available?

No, unfortunately there is no parking available at this event. The organizer encourage all visitors:inside to use public transportation if possible.

Is the event site accessible barrier-free?

.

Parking spaces for persons with reduced mobility are located in the courtyard in front of the "GAT". Please use the access via Tempelhofer Damm/Bayernring. From there you will find a barrier-free access to the main hall. From the main hall, you can take an elevator to event level 0 of Tempelhof Airport. A separate wheelchair platform is available.

What barrier-free accesses are available on site?

There are barrier-free sanitary facilities and spectator areas in the fan area. If you need further assistance, please contact the organizer of the event, the Berlin agency Gil & Weingärtner, in advance.

Tickets

How many spectators:inside are expected at the Formula E in Berlin?

.

In total, the organizer expects about 14,000 people per day. On the grandstands are 8,100 seats available. 5,000 further visitors:inside find place in the fan Village. In the VIP hospitality, Formula E welcomes another 1,000 guests.

Are there still tickets?

According to our information, the grandstand tickets on Saturday are already sold out. There are only tickets for the Fan Village. For Sunday, about 20 to 30 percent of the grandstand tickets are currently still available (as of April 7). On our Formula E ticket page, we have compiled all the important information for you.

Can I buy tickets on site?

There will still be some tickets available on site on the day of the event. However, the number is subject to availability.

Do I have to go through a security check when entering the site?

Yes, you will have to go through a security and bag check at the entrance to the venue. Walk-through or handheld metal detectors will be used.

Can I visit the Allianz Fan Village without a ticket?

.

No, only ticket holders have access to the Allianz Fan Village.

Are the seats in the stands reserved?

.

Yes, the exact seating information is on your ticket. Usher:inside will be happy to help you on site.

Does my child need a ticket?

Yes, children between 3 and 15 years old need a grandstand ticket. Children under the age of 3 do not need a grandstand ticket. They do not get their own seat and must sit on the lap of an adult (maximum one child per adult). Children 15 and under can visit the Allianz Fan Village free of charge.

Are there special tickets for people with disabilities?

Tickets for barrier-free access can be purchased on the official Formula E ticketing website.

Experience on site

Can follow the race in the Fan Village and see the cars?

Yes. According to our information, this year for the first time visitors:inside will have the opportunity to stand anywhere in the Fan Village directly on the fences to see the moving cars on the track. Large screens will also be set up around the venue to follow the action on and off the track. The podium ceremony can be experienced live at the podium even without a grandstand ticket.

Will there again be different track layouts on Saturday and Sunday?

No, Formula E has decided against an overnight conversion for 2023. On both race days, the classic course layout will be driven counterclockwise.

Is there a pitwalk or pit lane layout?

.

Yes, but without special tickets for it. The pitwalk will take place in combination with the autograph session - on both days at 12:15 pm. The number of participants:inside is limited to 500. Interested parties should secure a free wristband early at the Info Point to be able to be there.

Where will the autograph session take place?

.

Fans can go as usual on autograph hunt and meet the drivers in person - in each case from 12:15 clock. After the autograph session in previous years always took place at the disused baggage counters in the large check-in hall, the session for 2023 was moved to the pit lane. This is to give more fans the opportunity to grab a signature, while also being able to look into the teams' pits. The number of participants:inside is limited to 500. Interested parties should secure a free wristband early at the info point to be able to be there.

Do I have to expect additional costs for the entertainment program on site?

No, all entertainment activities in the Allianz Fan Village are free of charge for ticket holders:inside. In case of high demand, there may be waiting times. The sale of food and beverages on the event site will take place as usual.

What food and beverages will be available on site?

There will be a selection of food and beverage booths on site offering a variety of meat dishes, vegetarian and vegan options, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Please note that no alcohol will be served to anyone under the age of 18. There will be free water stations around the venue where you can fill up your bottle.

Is there wifi on site?

Unfortunately, there will be no wifi access on site for fans.

Are there changing tables on site?

Yes, changing tables will be available in the Allianz Fan Village.

The event will take place rain or shine. Average rainfall will not affect the event or the race. In the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms, race activities might have to be interrupted.
