Formula E has released the third season of its documentary series "Unplugged" on Tuesday. Fans can take a look behind the scenes of the first Gen3 season in 2023 in ten episodes on the official YouTube channel of the racing series.
Formula E promises never-before-seen content from the ninth season and various insider interviews focussing in particular on the title fight between Jake Dennis, Nick Cassidy, Mitch Evans and Pascal Wehrlein.
On YouTube, there are episodes with different lengths specially tailored to the platform: In addition to episodes lasting 15 minutes, there are also some episodes lasting just eight minutes.
For Formula E's TV partners, the content is cut into eight episodes, each lasting around 25 minutes. Fans can therefore look forward to more content here than in the episodes on YouTube.
"The perfect opportunity for new fans"
"The Unplugged cameras have captured every angle of what was officially the biggest and most dramatic season ever," says Tim Glass, broadcast and programme director for Formula E. "There are crashes and collisions, high-speed action and intense rivalries taking place in iconic locations around the world - from Cape Town to Hyderabad, from Sao Paulo to London."
"Unplugged is the perfect opportunity for new fans to find out about Formula E just before the start of the new season," Glass continued. "And for die-hard fans, it's a whole new perspective on last season's entertainment."
The tenth Formula E season begins in just under two weeks: The season opener of the 2024 Formula E World Championship will be held in Mexico City on 13 January.
