Norman Nato will leave Andretti after just one season. The team made the announcement on social media on Friday afternoon. It is the third time in the Frenchman's Formula E career that he has been shown the door by a team after just one season. It is unlikely that Nato will remain in the electric series.

After one season each with Venturi (2021) and Nissan (2023), Nato joined Andretti as a replacement for Andre Lotterer, who ended his Formula career. Nato finished the 2024 season in 14th place overall with one podium finish in Shanghai. He was the only one of the four Porsche-powered drivers without a win this season. He clearly lost the internal team duel against Jake Dennis with 47 to 122 points.

"A heartfelt thank you to Norman for his time spent in our red and white machine this season," Andretti wrote on X. "Norman has been a brilliant asset to the team over the last year, and we are grateful for his efforts and commitment. We would like to wish Norman all the best for the future."

"While this season has had its challenges, Norman's perseverance and positive attitude have been commendable," Andretti team principal Roger Griffiths says. "He has been a dedicated member of our team, and we acknowledge all or the hard work he has put in."

In addition to Formula E, Nato also competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) for Porsche customer team Jota and finished second in the season opener in Qatar. As Jota will take over the works entry from Cadillac next year, Nato is considered a promising candidate for a cockpit in the LMDh car. However, the Frenchman's prospects of remaining in Formula E are very slim.
