Jake Dennis remains loyal to Andretti. On Tuesday, the US team officially confirmed its continued collaboration with the 2023 Formula E World Champion after there had recently been some speculation about his future and Dennis had spoken to other teams.
However, it was never really realistic that he would actually leave the team. "Ultimately it was never really in doubt that we were going to be going anywhere", Dennis told The Race. The Brit has been driving for Andretti since 2021, back then still under the name BMW i Andretti. With his 2023 title, he has established himself as a permanent fixture in the paddock and is considered one of the most sought-after drivers on the market. Nevertheless, he favours continuity: "I think ultimately, the biggest thing is the consistency inside of the team, that's where I want us to build this a bit better of a foundation," explains the Briton.
With this clear focus on stability, Dennis and Andretti are heading into the upcoming Formula E season. This begins on 6 December in Sao Paulo. Before that, the traditional pre-season tests in Valencia are scheduled for the last week of October.
