DJ Carl Cox is entering Extreme E with his own team starting in Season 3. This was announced by the electric series on Wednesday morning. The British DJ, who describes motorsport as his second great passion alongside music, has already been responsible for a number of racing teams and is now also active in electric racing. The action at the track will be responsible for his manager Alon Shulman.
.Cox himself is a passionate drag racer and already supported several motorcyclists who participated in the Isle of Man TT Challenge - including Michael Dunlop and Davey Todd. He was already on site at the first race of the electric series in Saudi Arabia and even got to drive around the course in a race car once. Just a few weeks later, planning began for his own team. "Carl Cox Motorsport Extreme E" is the result for 2023.
