Formula E confirms second women's test in Valencia

As announced by the FIA and Formula E on 11 September 2025, a second Formula E test exclusively for female drivers will take place on 31 October 2025 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. The test will be held as part of the pre-season test drives. Each of the ten Formula E teams must field at least one female driver for the test in the current Gen 3 Evo cars, though the teams are also free to enter two female drivers. Following the successful debut in Madrid last year, the driving time will be doubled in 2025, with two three-hour sessions planned.

In order to allow the F1 Academy drivers to take part, the two racing series had previously agreed not to hold the test on 30 October as originally planned. In the same week, the F1 Academy is holding tests in Bahrain, making it impossible for the drivers to be in Valencia on that day. According to The Race, the drivers have been given permission to leave the test in Bahrain early and travel to Valencia in order to take part in both events.

According to Formula E, there will be a special edition of the FIA programme "Girls on Track" for up to 100 young women from the Valencia region alongside the women's test. Hands-on educational workshops will be offered. To promote visibility and career paths for women looking to enter motorsport, participants will also have the opportunity to meet the Formula E drivers and teams.
