Formula E confirms Wehrlein & Felix da Costa for season 11 at Porsche

Formula E world champion Pascal Wehrlein and Antonio Felix da Costa will continue to drive for the Porsche works team in the upcoming 2024/25 season. What many had already suspected was announced by Formula E on Tuesday in a social media post that was apparently not coordinated with the manufacturer. When asked by e-Formula.news, Porsche explained that there was actually nothing to announce, as both drivers have multi-year contracts - but contract details are almost never communicated publicly.
The recent departure of Sacha Fenestraz from Nissan showed that a multi-year contract does not necessarily mean much in motorsport. Porsche also tested Nico Müller during the past season, who has since been signed as a works driver and parked with the Andretti customer team. It was therefore not a foregone conclusion that Felix da Costa would also drive for Porsche in season 11. A public line-up confirmation by Porsche is still pending. We assume that Wehrlein and Felix da Costa will be seen in their new dress for the first time at the presentation of the new Gen3 Evo car before the public test drives in November.
