Video: David Coulthard laps Monaco in the new Gen3 Evo car

Former Formula 1 driver and current Formula E expert David Coulthard had the opportunity to test the brand-new Gen3 Evo car, which will be introduced in the upcoming 2024/25 season, at the Monaco E-Prix. A video shows the Scotsman on a lap around the legendary Monaco Street Circuit. He was clearly particularly impressed by the brutal acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.86 seconds.

"The acceleration is really super impressive when I unleash the power. Unbelievable!" Coulthard radioed in a similar vein several times during his Monaco lap. His conclusion: "That was great, what a feeling!" The video also gives Formula E fans a good first impression of what the new Gen3 Evo car will look like in action - much more stylish than the current Formula E car in our opinion!
