Never change a running system: The Kristoffersson Motorsport racing team, which competes in the FIA World Rallycross Championship under the name "Volkswagen Dealerteam Bauhaus", will contest the 2023 season with the same line-up as last year. So in addition to the reigning world champion Johann Kristoffersson, the Norwegian Ole Christian Veiby and the Swedish young driver Gustav Bergström will take the wheel.

With this line-up, the Volkswagen Dealerteam won the drivers' and team' championships in 2022. Johan Kristoffersson alone won eight of the ten rounds, and Veiby additionally stood on the podium five times. The only change: Bergström drove in the KMS group last season, but was officially registered as a separate driver with his own team. This season he is a permanent part - and thus the third driver - of the Volkswagen Dealerteam. Whether he will contest the whole season, however, is not yet certain, because there are some scheduling conflicts with other racing series.

The first points in the fight for the title defense will be awarded in just under four weeks: On June 3 and 4, the WRX season begins in Portugal.
