Zane Maloney confirms he will remain with Lola Yamaha ABT for Formula E season 12

Another piece of the Formula E driver market puzzle seems to have fallen into place: Lola Yamaha ABT rookie Zane Maloney confirmed to RacingNews365 that he will remain in Formula E for the coming season. This year, the man from Barbados is one of only two drivers who have yet to score any points. Maloney is therefore already looking forward to next season.

"I'm happy where I am", Maloney replies succinctly when asked if he is looking for other opportunities, adding: "When I signed, we knew it was going to be a long-term project." With a simple "yes" he finally confirmed his commitment to Lola Yamaha ABT. "I am looking forward to next season!"

Maloney has not yet been able to score any points this season, but progress can still be seen: "In general, we are happy with how the team is developing and where things are going for us - including on my part. I have come a long way since the start of the season", he says confidently. "You can't see it in the standings yet, but yes, I'm looking less at this year and more at my career and what I plan to do with it", says the 21-year-old.
