The Renault powertrain was already the measure of all things in season two. So it's hardly surprising that in season three not only e.dams but also the new customer team Techeetah wants to benefit from the expertise from France. The only difference between the two teams is their software. The engine, inverter and transmission from Zytek are identical. In contrast to last year, Renault has dispensed with several gears: the transmission has only one ratio.
