Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina and the political, cultural, commercial and industrial center of the country. The South American metropolis is the world capital of tango dancing, and soccer and black coffee also play a major role. Apart from that, the culture is strongly European, which is why Buenos Aires is also called the "Paris of South America". The inaugural edition of the Buenos Aires ePrix in January 2015 went down as one of the most spectacular races ever in the still-young Formula E history - with surprise winner Antonio Felix da Costa in the Aguri.

A year later, Sam Bird held his own spiritedly against favorite Sebastien Buemi, who had driven from the back of the field to finish second. The third edition of the Buenos Aires ePrix in 2017 makes the Puerto Madero street circuit - one of the fastest in Formula E - the only track to have been run in every season up to that point.
