Montreal

The Canadian city of Montreal was the venue for the finale of the third Formula E season. As with the two previous E-Prix in Berlin and New York, the Montreal E-Prix was held as a double-header on two consecutive days with an identical schedule. In Montreal, the race was not held on the Formula 1 track on Ile Note-Dame, but on a new street circuit around the Radio-Canada skyscraper. After a change of power in local politics, Formula E had to leave Montreal after just one season and cancel the 2018 season finale without replacement. An opaque "mudslinging" ensued, revolving around breach of contract, dubious financing and corruption.
