Paris has been part of the Formula E racing calendar for the first time in the second season. The home race for numerous French drivers as well as the Renault e.dams team and manufacturer DS Performance passes the Les Invalides architectural complex, the Army Museum and Napoleon's tomb. The Eiffel Tower provides a picturesque backdrop. With a lap length of 1.925 kilometers, Formula E in Paris expects one of the shortest tracks on the racing calendar. Nevertheless, the electric cars reach top speeds of up to 200 km/h on the two long straights. In 2016, the Paris ePrix accommodated a total of 15,000 spectators. In 2017, tickets were sold out within a few days.
