Formula E held a one-off double-header on 13 and 14 April 2024 at the ‘Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli’. The classic racetrack on the Adriatic coast, where the MotoGP also competes, subsequently stood in as a replacement for the Rome E-Prix, which was still scheduled for 2024 in the original race calendar.

The race was probably not included in the 2025 calendar again due to a lack of spectator interest.
