Jack Aitken drove a Formula E car for the first time for Envision during the 2023 rookie test in Berlin. The British-South Korean driver has plenty of experience in formula racing. For example, he made his Formula One debut with Williams at the Sakhir Grand Prix in 2020 as a replacement for George Russell, who was standing in for Lewis Hamilton, who at the time was ruled unfit due to a COVID-19 illness, at Mercedes.
Aitken has also been active in GT racing since 2021. He won a DTM race here in 2023 and also won the 12 Hours of Sebring in the IMSA series, where he contested four races. In 2024, he will contest the full IMSA season in a Cadillac prototype.
