Nelson Piquet jr.

Nelson Piquet Jr., the son of three-time Formula 1 world champion Nelson Piquet, has been one of the world's most talented drivers for years. In 2006, he finished second overall in the GP2 series and competed for Renault in Formula One between 2008 and 2009 before being fired by the team as part of the "Crash Gate" affair. Piquet Jr. subsequently spent numerous years in the U.S., where he enjoyed success in various NASCAR classes, the IndyLights, GRC and Rolex Sports Car Series. In 2015, the then 29-year-old crowned himself the first driver champion in Formula E for NextEV (later: Nio), but due to unsatisfactory results, he lost his Jaguar cockpit during the current 2019 season.
