Benoit Treluyer is regarded as an ace on the endurance track: He made his Le Mans debut as early as 2002 but only recorded his first overall victory at the Sarthe after switching to the Audi factory team in 2011. Further Le Mans victories followed in 2012 and 2014, and in 2013 he also won the 12 Hours of Sebring. Between 2001 and 2011, Treluyer also competed regularly in the Japanese JGTC/Super GT series (winning the title in 2008) and Formula Nippon (winning the title in 2006)

.

At the 2019 rookie test, the Frenchman drove Virgin's Formula E car. Behind the scenes, however, Treluyer also worked with Spark Racing Technologies on the development of the Gen2 and Gen3 unit chassis from 2018.
