Thomas Preining

Thomas Preining has been part of the Porsche driver lineup since 2017. In September 2019, he joined the Porsche Formula E team as a test and development driver and contested the 2020 rookie test in this role. However, Preining has already been unavailable to the Zuffenhausen-based company as an official reserve driver since the 2021 season.

In the 2019 season, he raced as a "Porsche Young Professional" for Gulf Racing in the WEC (GTE-AM class) and also competed in the ADAC GT Masters for Herbert Motorsport. At the 6 Hours of Fuji, the 1,000 Miles of Sebring and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Austrian and his teammates each finished fourth.
