Daniel "Dan" Ticktum won the Macau Grand Prix in 2017 and 2018. As a Red Bull-sponsored junior driver, he made his FIA Formula 2 debut in 2018, where he won several races. Formula 1 team Williams later signed him, but terminated the deal in early August 2021.
On 25 November 2021, the Chinese Formula E team Nio 333 announced Ticktum as a regular driver for the 2022 season. He still drives for the team, which rebranded in 2024 and started racing under the name ERT. For the 2024/25 season, he took part in the pre-season test in Madrid for the team, now called Kiro Race Co following a change of ownership, but has not yet been confirmed as a regular driver.
