Jordan King won the British Formula 3 title in 2013, which paved his way into the IndyCar Series and FIA Formula 2. In 2015, the Englishman was a test driver for a Formula 1 team for the first time, and he now supports Mahindra Racing as a simulator and reserve driver in Formula E.

In 2023, King took part in the rookie test in Berlin for Mahindra, having already tested for the Indian team in 2017 and for Dragon Racing in 2019.
