Robert Shwartzman made his electric debut at the 2023 Formula E Rookie Test in Berlin. The Israeli-Russian racing driver and champion of the 2019 FIA Formula 3 Championship raced later as Mick Schumacher's Formula 2 team-mate. In 2021, he finished runner-up in the Formula 2 championship behind Oscar Piastri.
Shwartzman is a member of the Ferrari academy and is currently also active as a test and reserve driver for the Italian Formula 1 team, where he has already taken part in four free practice sessions.
