Zak O'Sullivan

British driver Zak O’Sullivan began his motorsport career in karting before moving on to formula racing. After finishing runner-up in the British Formula 4 championship, he won the GB3 championship in 2021. This was followed by two years in FIA Formula 3, which he concluded in 2023 as runner-up with four race wins. In Formula 2, O’Sullivan won the races at Monaco and Spa-Francorchamps in 2024. He then moved to Japan, where he competed in Super Formula and Super GT.

O’Sullivan gained his first experience in Formula E in February 2025 at the rookie training session in Jeddah for Envision Racing. The British team had already signed him as a simulator driver. Further appearances followed at the rookie test in Berlin and, in 2026, at the rookie training session in Miami, where he set the fastest time. He also competed for Envision at the rookie test in Madrid.

In September 2026, Envision Racing confirmed O’Sullivan as a regular driver for the 2026/27 season. The Briton will thus make his debut in the Formula E World Championship at the start of the Gen4 era and will be team-mate to Maximilian Günther.
