Pierre Gasly

Pierre Gasly competed in Formula E at the 2017 New York City E-Prix as a replacement driver for Sebastien Buemi at Renault e.dams. In 2013, Gasly won the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. The Frenchman competed in GP2, now Formula 2, from 2014 to 2016, where he became champion in his final year. He has also been a test driver for Red Bull in Formula 1 since 2015. In 2017, Gasly was promoted to Formula 1 regular driver at Toro Rosso. After an unsuccessful season at Red Bull Racing, he later switched back to AlphaTauri before his path led him to Alpine.
