Karun Chandhok made his Formula 1 debut for HRT in 2010 and also competed with Lotus in 2011. From 2012, the Indian competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship WEC. His guest appearance in Formula E with Mahindra lasted only one year. During this time, Chandhok was one of two representatives of the Drivers:Indians Association. In the meantime, he is a Formula 1 expert for the British TV station Sky Sports, but also analyses the Formula E races for the World Signal.
