Takuma Sato

Takuma Sato became British Formula 3 champion in 2001. From 2002 to 2008, he competed for various teams in a total of 90 Formula 1 races. Sato became the first Japanese Formula 1 driver to start a Grand Prix from the front row of the grid at the 2004 European Grand Prix. From 2010 he competed in the IndyCar Series. In Formula E, he only took part in the first race in history in Beijing for Amlin Aguri.
