Alex Fontana

Alex Fontana has his Greek roots, but competes for the country of his birth - Switzerland. In 2011, he won the overall classification of the European F3 Open. From 2011 he competed in the GP3 series, and in 2015 he also joined Formula Renault 3.5. He competed in Formula E only twice, at the 2015 double season finale in London.

He then devoted himself to "racing cars with roofs" and took part in rounds of the Blancpain GT, Intercontinental GT Challenge, Chinese Touring Car Championship or European Le Mans Series (ELMS). He was also a driver coach and instructor in Europe, America and China. Fontana also commented on Formula 1 races for the Swiss television station RSI.
