Dean Stoneman won Formula 2 in 2010 and then raced in GP3, where he was runner-up in 2014. After guest appearances in GP2 and Formula Renault 3.5, the Briton competed for Andretti Autosport in Indy Lights in 2016. He made his Formula E debut at the 2016 Donington test for NextEV. Subsequently, Stoneman drove mainly GT cars, including his title win in the 2020 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe.
