Tatiana Calderon started karting at the age of nine. In 2009, she decided against studying in order to dedicate herself to formula racing. Calderon then raced in various junior categories before completing her first year in the GP3 series in 2016. Two years later, Alfa Romeo used her as a Formula 1 test driver for the first time. In 2019, Calderon competed in FIA Formula 2, and in 2022 she made her debut in the IndyCar championship.
For Techeetah, the Colombian competed in the 2018 Formula E in-season test in Saudi Arabia.
