Audi
Audi took over the Formula E manufacturer's license from ABT Sportsline in the fall of 2017 and competed as an independent constructor in Formula E from the fourth season. During the 2017/18 season, the FIA changed the officially registered manufacturer name from "ABT Formula E" to "Audi." In addition to the factory team, Audi also supplied customer team Envision Racing (formerly Virgin) with powertrains from Ingolstadt.
Audi returned its manufacturer's license to the series after its factory Formula E withdrawal at the end of the 2021 season. The customer team Envision Racing nevertheless competed for another year with Audi powertrains.
