Penske
Penske, a long-established motorsport company from the USA, has been developing its own powertrains since the third Formula E season and equipped the (company-owned) Team Dragon. During the 2016/17 season, Penske was supported by Chinese-American electric car start-up Faraday Future. After Faraday Future ran into economic difficulties in 2017, however, Penske began developing their powertrains themselves again. In the 2021 season, Penske announced a technical collaboration with Bosch.
The deal never materialized, though, and so Penske lost its manufacturer's license after Season 8. The Dragon racing team was instead renamed "Penske" and became DS Automobiles' works team.
