NextEV TCR

Starting under the name "Team China Racing2, the electric car start-up NextEV took over the team midway through the first season and also bought the manufacturer's license. While the racing team was renamed for a second time in season 4 - to Nio - the NextEV name remained on the manufacturer list for one more season.

In season five, the Nio name appeared on the manufacturers' list, although by then the team was already owned by Shanghai Lisheng Racing, and the powertrains were developed by Integral Powertrains in the UK. Nio has since been merely the title sponsor.
