Nissan
The automotive group Nissan took over the manufacturer's license from their alliance partner Renault and the actual license owner e.dams for the fifth Formula E season (2018/19). In its debut season, Nissan competed with an innovative twin-motor concept, which was, however, deemed illegal for the following seasons. Since then, the Japanese squad has developed a new powertrain concept, which they have also made available to the McLaren team since 2023.
